Stop The Rumors, the Polive Never Said Chime And DJ Olu Died Of Drug Overdose – Dolapo Badmus, PRO

These past few days have definitely been a rollercoaster for fans of ace artist, Davido who have been following the news of the deaths of his three friends. 

Davido who is currently being investigated by the police as regards to the death of his friend Tagbo, lost 2 of his friends, one a Billionaire son, DJ Olu and another mutual friend Chime whose bodies were both found in a car at a parking lot in Banana Island, Ikoyi. 

Rumors have been flying around since the incident that the two young men lost their lives due to drug overdose however, the PRO of Lagos Police Command, Dolapo Badmus has debunked these rumors saying that no one can ascertain the cause of their death just yet as just like everybody else, the police force awaits the autopsy and would be communicated to the people once it’s known.

She took to her Instagram page to debunk the news saying;

” But why are all these rumors that Olu Abiodun and Chime Amaechi died of drug overdose? The commissioner of Police Lagos State Command CP Imohimi Edgar never revealed that the two friends died as a result of drug overdose! The command is awaiting the result of the autopsy and investigation is ongoing! Let’s avoid peddling stories that are not confirmed especially when people have lost their lives.”
